Bear Creek Mountain will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It’s where we met, it’s where we have spent many countless winter date nights, & it’s where Konnor proposed! We still consider ourselves mountain locals, so when we received an inquiry for Emily & Luke’s June wedding, it immediately took us back to all our special memories there & collided our two favorite hobbies together – snowboarding & wedding photography!
We love the beautiful backdrops the mountain has to offer – with beautiful landscaping around the entire property – it is really hard to not be inspired when we shoot here. We started the day with Luke & Emily at Bear Creek, followed by their wedding ceremony at St. Philip Neri Church. The weather was on our side all day – but it DOWN POURED on the way to Bear Creek after their ceremony. It was truly a blessing though because like every wedding day at the end of June, IT WAS HOT. But the rainstorm cooled everyone down & it gave us an opportunity to shoot all Emily & Luke’s portraits outside!
One of our favorite memories of Luke & Emily’s wedding was their band! They hired Pop Philly to entertain their guests all night & it made their reception SO MUCH FUN. I don’t think we’ve ever photographed a wedding where EVERY SINGLE guest was dancing all night. The dance floor was packed!
One thing I can tell you, from experience, is that wedding guests primarily remember two things about your wedding day – the food & the entertainment – & I can assure you Emily & Luke’s guests will forever remember dancing their night away!!
