Wineries & vineyards are very easy to come by in the Lehigh Valley area but Jessica & Ben’s wedding at Monterre Vineyards truly stood out to us. After being voted 1 of the 13 most extravagant wedding venues in the Lehigh Valley, Monterre Vineyards did not disappoint!
Jess & Ben’s guests arrived being greeted by Monterre staff & escorted down a long pathway through the vines to their outdoor ceremony area. The ceremony site is tucked away, in the back of the vines. The aisle ends with a gorgeous, large arch covered with greenery – my jaw dropped when we walked up to it!
Jess & Ben’s ceremony ended at the perfect time of day – we had a beautiful fall golden hour during their portraits in the vines! We loved capturing all of the little, important details that went into their day from Jess wearing her mother’s restored jewelry to the bridesmaids’ very unique wooden flowers created by SylCadle on Etsy. The groomsmen’s boutonnières were also wooden flowers, paired with a wine cork to tie in the wedding venue location.
A very memorable moment in their reception was when one of Jess’ cousins grabbed the microphone & sung Marry You by Bruno Mars while Jess & Ben shared their second dance!
We know from experience when planning a wedding, you should focus on 2-3 main priorities on the day. For Jess & Ben those were really good food & even better wine!
