Nicole Marie… you are hands down my favorite person in the world. You always have been & you always will be. I am so lucky & blessed to have been connected to you my entire life. You have been my protector, my playtime school teacher, my roommate (for that short span of time when we begged mom & dad to let us share a room together), & my best friend. You are more than just my sister, you are my soulmate. I couldn’t imagine growing up without a sister & like the saying goes “there is no better friend than a sister & there is no better sister than you”.
Nicole didn’t believe in marriage – until she started dating Doug. She never dreamed of having children – until she started dating Doug. & she never spoke so highly of a man – until she started dating Doug. She lost her way & Doug I cannot thank you enough for helping her find her way back.
As Jack & Sally said it best, “My dearest friend, if you don’t mind… I’d like to join you by your side. Where we can gaze into the stars and sit together. Now & forever. For it is plain as anyone can see. We’re simply meant to be”.
French Creek Golf Club was the perfect venue for Nicole & Doug. The venue’s feel of both a country club & barn wedding was beautiful. The property is surrounded by beautiful greenery (our comfort zone!) and a small pond – which we took advantage of during their portraits. The bridal party’s flowers were designed by Matlack Florists.
