We met Kayla & Nate last year when we photographed their engagement photos at Lock Ridge Park, in Alburtis. From the moment we met them, we knew their wedding day was going to be so much fun to capture. After learning of their venue, The Farm & Bakery Events, we knew it wouldn’t disappoint. We are suckers for a beautiful farm venue!
These two are so in love & have such a strong faith in the Lord. Instead of a first look, Kayla & Nate had a first prayer. They met with their pastor, hidden around a door so they couldn’t see each other, & held hands to pray together before their ceremony. It allowed them both to calm their nerves & exchange letters – it was so sweet. Sometimes couples will opt out of a first look all together but I thought this alternative was so fitting for them. The Farm & Bakery Events is a gorgeous venue! So many beautiful buildings & backdrops for photos. It is family owned & I was able to chat with the owner about all their new additions to the property – the newest being the beautiful bridal suite (that I was swooning over). One of my favorite features the venue has is they serve your guests wedding cake outside, out of a dessert cart! Along with s’more fixings for the fire pit – how cute!
