Melissa & Chris’s Longwood Gardens Engagement Session

I met Melissa & Chris at Longwood Gardens one evening back in July & MAN did golden hour not disappoint! They decided to have their summer engagement photos at Longwood Gardens that started in the rose garden. How dreamy!! With Longwood’s changing photo policies coming this fall, I was so excited to squeeze in one more session with Melissa & Chris.

Not to say Longwood won’t remain one of my favorite engagement session locations. But I am anticipating their new policies to make scheduling & visiting the gardens a bit more challenging for our couples. If you’re interested in having your engagement photos here – let’s chat about it!

We explored one of my favorite spots near the Main Fountain Gardens. The ivy filled arches always make my little photographer heart SCREAM. I mean all the lush greenery?! YOU’RE KIDDING.

Melissa & Chris get married this September at Phoenixville Foundry. We are so excited! Phoenixville Foundry is a new venue for us that has been on our bucket list for many wedding seasons now! We met these two when we photographed Melissa’s sister’s wedding last year at French Creek Golf Club. We fell in love with their family & are so happy we get to see them again for another wedding!

While summer is undoubtedly a beautiful time to visit Longwood Gardens, each season brings its own unique charm. If your engagement falls in another season, don’t be disheartened. Spring offers a burst of fresh blooms and vibrant greenery. Autumn paints the gardens in rich, warm tones. And winter transforms the landscape into a serene, snowy wonderland. No matter the season, Longwood Gardens promises a stunning backdrop for your session.
