Stephanie & Steven’s September Wedding at The Gardens at Applecross
Stephanie & Steven had the ultimate fall wedding day at The Gardens at Applecross in Downingtown, PA! There is something so special about the first few weeks of September – the newly changing colors are perfection & the sunsets are usually very dreamy! Stephanie & Steve exchanged vows during their private first look, with their sweet parents watching from an ears distance away. I really admired how involved their parents were in their wedding day. Both sets of families made for such sweet moments all day & an incredible party at night, with help from the very talented Slippery Band!
I’m not sure I will ever get over the sunlight during Stephanie & Steven’s portraits! This past wedding season, I found myself praying for wedding days filled with full, direct sunlight. Overcast isn’t my favorite type of lighting situation because nothing beats playing around with glowy sun!
One of the highlights of our wedding season was seeing Franklin again, Steph & Steve’s sweet pup! We first met Franklin during their engagement session & he instantly stole our hearts! He was absolutely the guest of honor during cocktail hour & we were able to sneak away for a few portraits with the best boy! I even snuck in a selfie with Franklin myself! Every cocktail hour should include pups!
What an incredible party, with the help of The Slippery Band! Stephanie & Steven danced the night away with all of the family & friends, this might have been the most packed dance floor for us this season! At the end of the night, they even invited Steph & Steve up to the mic! So much fun! Such a beautiful fall wedding at The Gardens at Applecross! We hope to be back at this venue soon!!
